Hello, i have a few questions about the RS4 electric. Me and a few friends are considering buying some RS4 electric's to run in our basement which is cement floor. The demensions of the basement are around 32' x 56' and we plan to make an oval track. Will this demension be suitable for a descent oval track? also what about running on cement...what type of tire will give us the best grip?
thanks
thanks

i would not run 1/10th cars in an area that small, try looking into the mini 1/18th's and see what you like because you wont be able to do much with 52ft and a 1/10th, thats like a 520ft race track for a full sized car

Sounds like you guys are gonna have some fun! The sprints should do just fine as long as youre not looking for top speed. It does seem a bit small but should make for some fun bumping action! Since its a basement it might be a bit cool down there so you might want to go with a Racing Slick Belted Tire 24mm (20R) HPI part #4750. After a few laps this tire should start to grip on the concrete and give decent traction.
Might be a little extreme and too much work but have you thought of carpeting the floor? Everyone can chip in and if its left over carpet from a carpet store it could be dirt cheap. A very low carpet will give you killer grip and you can even roll it out when its time to race and roll it back up when its not in use. Might be a bit too much work but its just a thought.

Sounds like a blast - Have fun!

Sorry j-r029 - I was just referencing a movie. If you havent seen fight club then it wont make sense. Seeing that its a group of you guys racing in a basement made me think of fight club.
They had certain rules and those where the first 2.

There you go then, you guys can start your own RC Fight club down there! [sm=punching.gif]
Have fun, keep us posted on what you guys decide to do down there and let us know what tires worked the best.
