No and No. The Storm is a decent buggy but arent very durable compared the Mugen or Kyosho. I have known people that run the Storm and ended up selling to get a quality race buggy. I know there are Storm drivers out there that will disagree but I have seen the problems.

My Feedback: (11)
Kyokai is right about the GS Storm not having a 2 speed or reverse.
I have a different opinion of the car's durablility based on my personal experiences. I've been racing 1/8 scales for about 10 years now. Currently I have 3 kyoshos and 2 GS Storm Pros. I've found them just as durable. Over the course of an entire race season, I only managed to shear 2 bolts that hold the right front suspension to the chassis.

Well, I'm only one weekend into my Storm, but I have to say I love it so far. It doen't bother me as much about the 2 speed, but I sure would like to have reverse.

Is it possible to get a 2 speed on a mugen buggy? I sure would like to whoop out my buggy, put road tires on and beat a TC3 or a 4TEC
That would release enough endorphins to kill me! lol
