Hi,
Anybody knows what happened to Thorbob?
His site wasn't updated for a long time and I can't mail him to ask him some questions.
Maybe I'm looking at the wrong (old) URL?

ok...are you on RC Zone forums? Maybe you happened to post up on THIS forum TODAY of all days because his build thread was just ressurected AGAIN on that site. here is my RCZ post quoted, to hopefully shed a little bit of light on his existance....

this is OOLD and pointless now...unless we want to discuss the possible marketing of this truck. has anyone besides me noticed the desert truck ads in various RC magazines that have striking resemblances with Thor's truck? even the rims and tire size are familiar.....

1 - he's been busy marketing the thing without telling anyone
2 - someone stole his design and he is in court fighting it
3 - he's simply busy
nothing we can do but wait.

http://www.runryder.com/helicopter/gallery/34649/ - updated tomorrow of last year? either that or this site is in a different time zone? not sure (however, notice the motorcycle pics)
http://thorbob.smugmug.com/ - this one has a most recent update of 6 days ago and also contains an album with a motorcycle identical to that of the other album, which has RC stuff in it. Therefore i made the conclusion this IS the RC Thorbob and not a coincidence.
My guess is he's just busy and either forgot about this forum or has other much higher priorities...possibly that motorcycle. Good to hear though, with an absence this long i'd be worried if he's ok. apparently he is.

ironically, i had NO IDEA there were fans/supporters of Thorbob on this site and only found your post when googling his online title "Thorbob." glad i found this though! I hope this helps.
