Baja 5B SS Build Thread (No 56k)
Just thought I'd show some pictures of the build, thought I'd take more but ended up just taking a few. Sorry about the blur in a couple of them.
Whole thing took maybe 10 hours, some of that because HPIs part bagging system isnt quite as intuitive as Tamiyas. So far its all stock, I have some badhorsie shock covers I'll install later.
I'm gonna throw this thing in it next...

I have a TGN chrome wing on order, but its back ordered so it might take a while.

I paid $850 for it, but retail is a bit more.
the SS has a larger engine, new rear shock brace, nicer shocks, and a metal geared steering servo.
I'm gonna swap out the engine for that 30.5cc Reed motor though

you baja looks good. i have been thinking about one, now i think i'm going to have to get a ss kit to. can't wait until tax time, it will be my first larger scale. man i can't wait

I know, I got lazy with the camera. Next time I do a build I'll really document it well.
