My first guess would be that antenna got disconnected somehow. Are both, receiver and transmitter antennas in place? you havent cut them in any way, have you? If not then I would say some component in the radio circuit went bad; reasons may include water in the wrong place, stress or high electro magnetic pulse. Those radios are pretty cheap and a lot of silly things can go wrong with them. I don't know what else i could add.. maybe others on here could suggest something.. if the antenna is fine then you might have to get new radio gear[:'(]

if you take some pics of the rx/tx circuit we could try to detect something unusual but most of the time you dont have blown up resistors or leaking capacitors..etc.

also did you do anything modifications to the snowmobile last time you ran it? no messing around with antenna placement? because once when i was very little i mounted antenna directly to an aluminum body (scratch built r/c) which was mounted to an electric motor.. the pulse from the motor distorted the signal and the range went poopy.

I had a similar problem with my car the other day. When I took it apart I found that the antenna snaaped off at the reciever board. I resoldered it and it is fine now. I think you might have a similar problem.[]

If it is crystal controlled make sure they are plugged in all the way.
If they are maybe one of them is faulty.

Does it have one of those springy metal wire antennas? If so the solder connection from the antenna to the board is probably broken.

Checked all solder joints in both the transmitter and Snowmobile. That doesn't seem to be the problem.

I had something like this happen to me, bought a new [link]http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXASX3**&P=0[/link] and after 3 months it failed...unfortunatly.... it was in my raze when it decided to stop sending and my raze took off full tilt under a heavy construction fence and it busted the front tires off and all the stearing and busted the engine off the mounts. No more red raze
