Seriously though, I never thought it smelled like alcohol, smells like nitro fuel to me. It does have methanol in it though, which is a in the alcohol family.

Smell usually depends on the brand. Dont sniff too deeply though, it burns, lol. Burnt fuel almost smells different for each company.

But if you expected it to smell like gasoline, it wont.
