........gluing tires. I just cant quite seem to get it right. The good side is always the inside
Oh well, I am learning. So , tell me what you guys are horrible at. All I ever see is how great everyone is, but lets face it, theres one aspect of the hobby that everyone could use improvement in. Also, if someone posts a problem that you are particularly good at, why not go ahead and qoute em, and add some advice. Maybe we can all learn something from someone here in a non competitive way.

Ya tire glueing aint easy.
I seem to have problems with brushed motors. Even with the rite gearing I seem to burn comms quite quick. But i think a lot of itis because the part of my yard that i drive in the most is very dusty and dry. I blew through 4-5 brushed motors in a week or 2. All were either 17t double or 15t double. At least 3 of them were Speed Gems. So If your running a high power brushed motor stay away from the dusty dirt/sand itwill grind your comm away.
I did recently get a trinity P2K2 Pro 27T and it seems to not mind the dust as much as a 17t or 15t motor would for me. Ive put almost 20 runs on itand cleaned it around 10 runs ago and it wasnt as dirty as the others were getting. And it gives me great runtime and more speed then i thought it would. I do need to get a bigger pinion for it thou.
Today I killed my mamba ESC trying to put new Batt leads on it.Good thing I had a spare Tazer 15T esc laying around.

Hey, MF2MM, I think they used to have like, can covers, or heck, Id go to the lhs and see if I could find an air filter for 1/8 buggies that would work to keep the dust out. IDK, electric isnt my turf , but just an idea.

Painting bodies is definately the worst for me. I always seem to get bleeding under the window masks. Next to that, my driving could use some improvement.
By the way, I find tire-gluing easy, but then if the odd drip does appear, it doesn't bother me very much

soldering for me....I can get wires soldered but getting the motor wires too stick after applying too much solder is a pain.
This happened just last night actually to my rebel but finnally got it soldered correctly after 3 hours of soldering BS........lol........
Now next week sometime I'll solder my R1 pro also and my tekin brushless motor....I'm being lazy now...lol

I'm actually quite good at glueing tires. The first time I ever did it it worked out very well. I've been using my Revo 3.3 for about a week now, tires still attached to perfection. I use Team Losi tire glue, it is a great brand, best out there. It drys very quickly, and seconds after you applied it the tires already seem like they are ready to rock. That is why you have to move quick and make sure the rubber of the tires are insertered quickly before the glue drys up.
My main fall though would probably have to be tuning the engine of my Revo 3.3. I'm not really good with all the valvues and dials and what not. I usually just cheep out and bring it too the hobby shop.

I have a friend who is great at gluing tires so I just have him do it and I do most of his soldering since he is HORRIBLE at it. I don't know how I'm at painting bodies but I'll know sometime this summer.

I can paint simple car bodies thats all i really need. put some decent stickers on it and its good to go, Tires isnt to bad put the tire on the rim then push back the tire with thumb and drop a bead of glue down it doesnt have to be all the way around just in key points around the rim the more coverage the better tho, brushed motors are a pain there always buring up, really sensitive to gearing (heat up quickly) arnt that quick because anything under 15ts requires way to much maintainance, but one thing that did get to me was brushed motor maintainance! its preety time consuming and tidious, one thing i suck at is not being able to use all the funtions on my radio

ahh my soldering is fairly good now even if i say so myself. Bodies arent bad, but i stick to simple designs (trash them to much to be elaborate)

I suck at the tires too. I like to solder though. And painting bodies is fun, the masking is not. Trimming is fun to because it's been drying for a couple days and it'll be ready to mount after.

It is solid immovable objects that seem to be my problem, give me three open acres and one tree, I'll find the tree eventually. Probably at 40 plus mph.... I must suck at driving. BB
