Its just a Revo. Again, nothing new.
Indeed. All of these things can just be released as $~100 conversions for existing vehicles.

Doesn't anybody get tired of pointing out the REVO basist. I would never get a Revo but some how Traxxas is going to trick me into buying this.

Don't like the body?....NewEra has a little different shape.

Don't like nitro?....Then don't worry about it. We've all seen how an electric can pass up nitro but some of us just like snorting nitro......It's a better high.

Alot of times that happens. Tower will have a high introductory price, and then it will fall to the 'real' price once they have some product flow. I'm guessing $389.99.

Thats a fare price. I'm in SoCal and my Father lives in Seattle. He's going through a divorce and is moving down here soon. That price range I can get use both one. Last time he was here he liked driving my X-Factor which takes corners like a extra large Taco Bell drink cup so he should really like the Slayer.

How long from release date does price usually drop?

I doubt you'll see the price drop too much from there, maybe you'll get a $40 off $400 code at times, but $400-$450 is probably where this truck will level out at pricewise

it's pretty much a revo 3.3

shortening the arms and using smaller wheels and tires only make it a little cheaper to make, and traxxas will be charging a premium for the "cool new class of truck" they just brought back

I'm guessing it will jump better than slash but not quite as good as revo. Revo is a good jumper but these arms are shorter and have less susp. travel.

[8D]I just picked one up last week. It is totally awesome. Doesn't handle quite like a buggy but it's loads of fun when you're up against other Slayers (or Slashes).

here are a video of it in action: [link=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hqTcEcM02f4]Slayer Asphalt/Dirt Trials[/link]
