Default A.E. .28 Pro from an SC8 ?

I just picked one of these up on Ebay for 90.00 brand new .

This is what comes with it ...
AE .28 PRO ENGINE

#25352 AE PRO .28 Racing Engine SG crankshaft. Comes standard in the Associated RC8. Direct replacement for the RC8RS. Rear exhaust. Oversized heatsink. Slide valve carburetor. Throttle return safety spring. Pro-Start system backplate Engine Replacement Policy..

Includes: All parts are new from a new SC8

1 AE .28 PRO ENGINE WITH A ROTOSTART BACKPLATE

1 FULL CLUTCH ASSEMBLY

1 PRO STARTER NEEDS BATTERY

1 TUNED PIPE WITH CHASSIS HANGER

1 GLOWSTARTER NEEDS BATTERY

1 AIRFILTER ASSEMBLY

How did I do ? How are the newer .28 Pro's holding up ?

im prety shure, or close to, the stock St-1/MGT motor is good, holds a tune well, just likes to run sorta hot as a warning (or mine did), other than that its good[8D]

Cool , it looked like the MGT engine but I wasnt sure since it has the roto starter like the Losi Mach 427 .

I am still running the original A.E. .28 in my MGT an it has about 9 gallons on it an it still runs strong . Just wasnt sure if this engine was a new design or not .

Should power my CORR truck nicely then
