I gave A Main a call and they recommended the HPI Savage 4.6 or the XL. The XL is a little high priced and the 4.6 seems to have a crap steering servo that should be replaced.
Do any of you have any good or bad about it

So then it is a toss up. Traxxas and Losi are both great MT. THe lst2 has a bette remote, but i read somewhere that the hub hex is 20mm and is harder to find aftermarket rims, not like i care much but like to leave that open. I guess I have thinking on which one to choose. Thanks al of you for your input

hello, way to be careful on what MT to buy. personally i have a lst2 and its relly great. i like the revo 3.3 and plan on getting one someday. the savage x 4.6 is awesome too. out of the 3 id probally go w/ the lst2 ,cause for one its losi others reasons are, it has reverse(comes in handy when your bashing), lots of hop-ups and most online hobby stores carry lst2 hop-up/parts. 3 it has the greatest set up that i know of when comparing MT's, and a great jr radio. the revos. good in many ways too, awesome shock/suspention system, heard there not tempermental when tuning, and they look cool. the savage x 4.6(i personally would only get a x 4.6 not a xl or x ss) great frame and chassis, ive heard the savaeges are the all around tuffest MT, good looks too. i dont know what radio it comes w/ , but id check into that. well all in all i think id go w/ the lst2(which i did)if i was buying my first MT. one last thing. you ever heard of the losi lstxxl. look it up. its basically just a bigger lst2. great everything w/ that truck. it comes w/ a dx3s radio too, so you get the telematry. well good luck, clay unruh

Just ordered my revo 3.3 from the lhs. Should get it within a week. Too cold right now to run anyways.
Thanks for all you help. I was going back and forth betewwn the revo and davage x 4.6. talking further with the local he steered me to the revo. he stocks most parts, but will probally just order on-line. as I do not always have the time to spend 1.5hrs driving round trip.

T-Maxx's are cool, but not the greatest. And revos are pretty sick, but a pain in the ass to work on since everything's like crammed on the frame. both have their up's and down's.
