Next RC: Convince Me!
Hey guys. I've got a Savage and an EMAXX already, but the EMAXX breaks everytime I touch it, so it just sits on the shelf, so, anytime I break my Savage, I have to go adleast a week with nothing to drive, so, as of a couple days ago, I've decided Im gonna svae for another RC. But the thing is, I don't know which one I should get...I'm really into offroad, but I'm looking to get into a little onroad, so the RS4 3 evo sparks my interest, but, I also what do see what all the off-road world has to offer, so I was looking into trucks like the MT2, and the Slayer.So, what do ya'll like best? What else do you think would be of interest?Theres no category off-limits.I'm lookng for anything, 1:18-1:5, off-road or oN-road, 2WD or 4WD, but it has to be fuel powered,no electric. Now, CONVINCE ME!

For $500 USD, the money will come, be patient and save up. (I did, I had to save up like crazy to buy an FG of my own, and I paid for it brand new!)

Somewhere in Texas apparantly.
However, FG just released a more affordable 5th scale 4WD gasser, but it is still $960 when it does come out (if you ca call that affordable. But gassers are much more expensive than nitros to begin with.)

The price on the Slayers has been dropping like a rock , down to 349.00 at Utimate Hobbies .
[link=http://www.ultimatehobbies.com/istar.asp?a=6&id=TRA5908!1008]$349.00 SLAYER[/link]
Not a bad deal at all IMO at that price and it seems like a really fun truck (dont have one myself)

RE: Next RC: Convince Me!
I think pricing will be released at $960 USD NIB when it comes out, I know some places are already taking preorders, and this is RTR. For gassers, that is actually very cheap, a NIB FG RTR has in the past gone for $1500+ USD NIB, and that is only for 2WD!

Oh, sorry
Not cheap unfortunately, about $1200 USD, 80% rtr (No radio or servos, but otherwise assembled)

RE: Next RC: Convince Me!
Oh yeah! I know for sure that FG treats their alum parts to T6, even their thick 4mm chassis plate, which is 6061 alloy, is treated to t6. A 26cc Zenoah gasoline engine driving high carbon quality steel gears really gets these thing going!
Now this buggy has plastics for suspension arms, but that platic is way tough. On my non=comp FG MT, that plastic is beefy and tough, I even clipped trees, curbs, rocks that would have otherwise torn off my Savage's arms.
