RE: Buggy or Truggy?????????
so I could just throw a trophy truck body on a buggy chasis, then pick out the engine setup. (Nitro or Electric) What would be a good kit for this build? I've sold off all of my Nitro stuff a while back, and I'm looking to get back into RC. I've been looking around and I'm thinking about going electric but I've never owned an electric RC just Nitro Cars.....so that makes me semi-new.....LOL.....if that makes sense.....

Yea. I don't know of any buggy kits since I do on-road. I'm also a Kyosho fanboy so...See about the Inferno series. Specifically the ST-RR Truggy. They are expensive though. Still which would you like, electric or nitro?

RE: Buggy or Truggy?????????
Once again thanks guys! Really I'm going back forth between nitro and electric, I've never had electric... and it seems like I was always working on my nitro truck and car keeping them tuned in, and running period. I've been reading on the forum about electric cars, and they look blistering fast. But then again I like playing in the dirt/road/a tiny tiny bit of water on very rare occasions.... So I don't know anything about electric car setups so I'm not quite sure if its the route I want to go.....................

If you're looking at 1/10 scale, and you're a kyosho fan, just wait a couple months...

The Kyosho DRT you suggested is basically the DBX with shorter suspension arms which makes me think, Why not get the DBX?

PLEASE dont go around giving BS advice. They Kyosho is one of the best truggies out there, and the Hellfire dosent even fall into the same class as the Kyosho is.!
A Hyper is a DECENT truggy, much much better than the Hellfart.
Get your facts straight next time...

He was looking to convert one into a desert or CORR truck. Seeing as kyosho is offering exactly what he wanted for his end product, there's no sense reinventing the wheel.
