My million dollar RC track...
I'm just dreaming right now...
If I become a million/billionaire one day.
here is what I would do..
I will buy a big gym and build a really big RC track in it... Then I will dedicated some section building a cool rock crawling course... the gym.... maybe the size of a football field
man, that would be cool....I can play RC all year round without suffering the cold...Do anything to the track and have lots of fun... open free to public when I'm not using it.
So anytime I have nothing to do....I would go to my track and play RC there.
So what would you if you become rich or maybe you're rich already?

According to U.S. law, under an amendment to our free market economy, it states that under no circumstances will the federal government allow a buyout, etc. creating a monoploy in that industry. That doesn't mean that the gov'n. catches all the people trying to create monopolies. My father use to owna monoploy in the folder-gluing machine industry...If you know what that is...

What's forbidden in the abuse or exercise of 'monopoly power', not being a monopoly itself. There are monopolies that exist today, just b'cos they've never been broken up, or they dominated their industry since the beginning. As long as they don't abuse the power of being a monopoly too heavily, they don't have to worry about antitrust legislation. The 'no buyout that would create a monopoly' is on a larger scale, you still have regional monopolies (local to an area), or service monopolies (ie. cable, power, etc.) Not to mention, corporations can lobby congress heavily as to 'bend' the rules 'a bit' in their specific case.

I'm with you,
although there are plenty of monopolies, like power. I can buy power from one company Florida Power and Lighting, If I don't like their service. My only option is to move to another area or state.
Satellite radio, xm and sirius merged. Thats the only Satellite radio.
Even if monopolies are stopped, companies still work together to corner markets. I work in construction and see it all the time, Competing concrete suppliers will meet and agree to charge higher prices for their concrete so both companies can get more money for the work that they will ultimately split. Instead of cutting each others throat and slashing prices to get a little more business.

So my post that wasn't out of line gets deleted but one that is totally off topic by MadMan isn't?
What gives Mods?
I posted that I would travel the world with my RC's if I had more money than I could spend.
