I have a Jammin X1-CR. After breaking in the motor I took it to the track and ran a few tanks of fuel through it. Getting a little overconfident, the car got quite a bit of air and when it landed it wouldn't move but the engine was still running. I though that I may have burned the clutch shoes out with a little too much throttle in the air so I changed the shoes. The car wouldn't run and I put it away for a few years. Excited to get it going again, I started it up and at higher RPM's the car starts to go backwards a bit. I checked the cluth shoes and it appears they are installed correctly. When I move the main gear in the direction the motor turns while the car is on the bench (all wheels touching the bench) , the back wheels turn forward but the front wheels turn backwards.

Can anyone give me some insight as to what might be happening? I would really like to get this car back in action.

Thanks!

Yes, Your diffs can go in two different ways. You have to pay attention to the direction the spur turns your drive shafts. Then setthe diffs so the pinion gears turn the diffs in the same direction together. That's the only way possible for your front and rear to turn in different directions.
