Default simple question.....

I know this has been asked before, and I've seen a crazy amount of answers in each direction....so.....here it is (again)....is the Mamba Max waterproof/water resistant? I'm wanting to put it onto my new AX10 which I know will get wet, but, I'm not willing to risk ruining the esc, since it's being scavenged off of one of my TC's which I need functional too....(and the Axial ESC won't handle the motor or batteries that the TC is running)

A Mamba Max is a bad idea in a crawler. If you want a good brushless and totally waterproof crawler specific motor, check out RC4WD's new Corefire system.

Default RE: simple question.....

not using the motor, just the ESC for the programmability.....if I'm not going to a MM I'll stick with the stock one till I fry it....though, I wanted to go lipo....but I can live without that for now....

also.....the post wasn't a "give me suggestions on what ESC to use" it was "is it waterproof, yes or no?" sorry but I'm not spending funds I don't need to on this....I got it to play with, not to try to compete with it....
