<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, Arial; font-size: 13px; -webkit-border-horizontal-spacing: 1px; -webkit-border-vertical-spacing: 1px; ">If I were to put this (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...#ht_3074wt_941) in my rc18 wit a 7.2v 1100mAhNiMHHOW FAST WOULD IT GO? I was considering the 8000kvmambabut it would be hard to come by with the kind of money i make. I was told that this was a good motor if the mamba was too expensive.

It's hard to predict speed because it depends on your gearing, and the discharge ability of the battery. If you're going to go brushless you'd be doing yourself a huge favor to go lipo as well.

I read a big article on lipos and i understand the maintenance and all of that, but there are two plugins (if you will) and one is for a discharger. What do you use a discharger for? I know that a lipo is fully discharged at 3.0 volts and fully charged at 4.2 volts, doesn't driving your car discharge it? doesn't your esc have a low voltage cutoff that you can set to 3.0 volts?
