Default what is the difference?

I was wondering what the difference is between an RC10T4 and the RC10T4 Factory Team? Will the parts interchange?

Thanks, Chris

The parts should interchange fine, I'm guessing the Factory Team version just comes with some hopped up stuff.

Factory Team comes with better upgrades.

You can upgrade your non Factory Team car to Factory Team by purchasing Factory Team upgrades/parts. Or you can downgrade.

So the parts are interchangeable.

As others have said, all the parts are interchangeable. The FT has a good amount of upgrades. Some are purely cosmetic, and some are technically better parts.

There is the ready to run version, a Team kit, and a Factory Team kit. The Team has a few upgrades over the RTR, and the Factory Team has a number of upgraded over the Team kit. I know most of the individual differences if you would like specifics.

Associated factory team stuff is way overpriced... The aluminum screws suck, the turnbuckles break, and you dont even get aluminum shock caps. I dont think they have a team kit anymore. Buy a RTR, throw a set of lunsford Ti turnbuckles on, and be done with it. I picked up a GT factory team as one of my first trucks, I could have saved so much money with the team kit and 3rd party parts...

Thanks guys, I am getting a rc10t4 team kit in a trade, it has RPM ball cups and RPM a arms. Is there any other upgrades I should do before racing it?

Its this one: http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...Team-Truck-Kit

Other than decent electronics... Get a set of pinion gears (18-24) then a few spur gears (whatever comes stock... 80?). Aluminum servo mounts are a must, the stock AE ones strip really easy. Find some good tires too, I prefer panthers depending on track.

vxl is a tight fit .. cut the mounting tabs off the esc and it'll fit barely .... factory team truck is much upgraded over the rtr and team truck .. the bet part of the FT is the shocks .. they make it worth the price difference ..

So the team truck has plastic body shocks and the FT has aluminium bodied shocks?

The Team kit has teflon coated aluminum shocks. The FT version also has teflon coated aluminum shocks, but they are threaded for easier adjustment of the spring tension, and they have different shafts (better? I don't know, haha, but I believe they are different).
