To give another opinion, lots of people go into the hobby shop and their options are either the Slash for $250 or the Losi Mini-Desert Truck for $110. For a lot of people spending $300 right off the bat is too much, and they don't want to get a 1/18 scale car because they want to run it on my track, so that is the market for this car.

It is a cheap way for someone to get started and will always be back for parts .

Mods deleted it for some odd reason, I didn't do anything, they just had some excuse...don't really want to get into detail...

I saw one of these on the shelf at the LHS yesterday. The rubber is hard, Some of the plastic seemed brittle while other pieces where very soft and thin. I talked to the guy behind the counter and he said they sold one and the guy brought it back thinking something was wrong as it only runs around 12/14 mph.

If I was in the market for a $100 truck I would buy the Evader first even knowing how bad they are. The other problem is being Horizon no one will support it or make parts so you're pretty much going to be stuck with stock stuff.

i have the electrix rc circuit and for 120 its not bad at all,, iv had it for about a month now and the only thing wrong is the esc and its only because its not my taste it stops the truck if it starts to get hot just a little bit.. horrible for racing, and it also stops it wen the battery starts to get low but it does it when the battery still has plenty of juice... when the new evader ext 2 comes out im thinking about getting it
