Default Electrix?

While I was down at my local Hobby Town, I found a stadium truck that I didn't recognize on display. Apparently the Horizon group decided that they needed another RC car company(besides Losi).

Anybody's thought on this?

Myself, I didn't really like the "Circuit" that they had on display. The body is rather ugly, the plastic feels kinda cheap, and the tires have a strange feel to them. They feel like vinyl.

Despite the lack of pics, it looks like a rustler knock-off. Also, the included 1800mAh battery wouldn't last long. And the plastic just looks cheap. I wouldn't drive it even if it was given to me; just looks like a headache waiting to happen.

It goes for $120, so I'm thinking that it's meant to be competition for Duratrax's evader. They surely don't think that they can muscle in on the rustler's sales with this thing? BTW, if anyone's interested, they have a "review" for it on Horizon. It's just advertising, though, since they make the thing.

I would only take it if someone gave it to me. It uses Dynamite electronics(which I haven't heard much good about), so it just looks like a money trap, IMHO.

They definitely would not be able to run with a rustler, but just looking at it, it looks like a rustler. Even down to the tires. The only good thing I'm seeing is the parts are rather cheap, but you'd have to buy them through their website. When you add shipping and whatnot parts may be a little bit more expensive.

It looks like a evader copy but the evader has the 1 year parts warranty for the same price.
I would like to see some real rustler vxl competition to bring the rustler down in price, It would be nice if rpm parts came on a stadium truck stock for reasonable price though.

Seen one at the local hobby shop. The fixed front camber links pop off just from holding the car by them.

Saw one at hobby town today.$119.99

Tires, plastic and body (IMHO) all seem of poor quality and rather cheaply made.Tires had a weird rough feel to them, especially when i compared them tot the rusty and t4. The body felt thin and just cheap. The plastic seemed stiff and brittle.

I would go for it unless i got it for free.Even than, seems like it would take alot of cash to maintain and upgrade it.

Seems very entry level. I'm getting a bit tired of all the toysih stuff coming out. Want to see some more high end vehicles.

Wouldn't surprise me if I found that it was made by the same company. I too would much rather have an Evader. Looks bad for Horizon. I thought that some of their latest RTR stuff was kinda cheap, but this takes the cake.

Isn't this the same thing as the Sportwerks Raven ST?

Nevermind, no, it's not.

Why pump money and advertising into a dying class?

I over looked this truck at my hobby shop very close. Its a piece of crap. Its very cheap looking and built. I have to agree with everyone elses opinion. Cheap rubber and cheaper plastic. Looks like a $100 Wal Mart truck. It would be good I'd guess for a young child to start out the hobby. But the Evader would be a MUCH better choice.

You'd think the market would be saturated with these kind of cheap trucks already. I've seen one in person and looks too expensive for the low quality of the truck.
