Default JR XS3 with hitec reciever question

I have a JR XS3 (fm 75mhz)and it works great.....got a hiteh HFS-03MM 75mhz universal receiver to put into second car off ebay and it came with a 64 channel crystal...assuming it was hitec. Of course it doesn't work.......but if I put in a JR crystal into the reciever and change the channel on the remote (of course tuning off then back on) would it work?

Thanks...

Default RE: JR XS3 with hitec reciever question

First I don't know if synthesized TX's can work with normal RX's? Also you have to have the shift right for the JR. Hitec makes both neg and positive shift. I think JR is positive and Futaba is negative. Also you wouldn't use a JR crystal in a Hitec reciever. You would use a Hitec crystal.
