what is best??
hey guys im plaining on getting a radio soon and i was wondering what is the best Synthesized one to get from a price 200-300 dollars i was thinking either

The spektrum technology is much better than that. It operates on the 2,4 gHz band and when it's turned on, it finds a vacant frequency and locks onto it. Thereby it prevents other radios from that specific frequency and that means no more frequency troubles and no more crystals.
It is clearly the next step and my guess is that in a few years only the very cheap tx/rx systems will operate with crystals.

Does anyone know a date when the Spektrum DX3 will be coming out? It looks like the radio I have been waiting to get. I am going to go to my LHS and see when they can order it in....and if they can get the price that is posted on line or at least close to it. I hope to have this by fathers day! That would be sweet...
