The Hitec DCX, that often is included with the Hitec CRX is (according to Hitec) the only Surface Dual Conversion Receiver on the market.

Beware that it needs special Dual Conversion crystals.

A Dual Conversion Receiver is less prone to glitching and has a better range than Single Conversion Receivers.

Most Air Receivers today are Duel Conversion.

It should work with Transmitters from Hitec/Futaba and JR/KO/Airtronics FM transmitters.

Receivers doesn't see any difference between stick, single stick and pistol grip transmitters, but give Hitec a call(858.748.8440) or e-mail([email protected]) with a question regarding your specific transmitter.
