old 75 MHz radio gear... need help
I've accumulated all this old radio gear over time. I still need to buy an antenna and battery pack for the transmitter but I've got that covered. I'm now short on receivers for my projects and figured to see if I could save some money and use this old radio gear. Oh by the way one of the recievers says 84 75.870 MHz on the side. And all the receivers have a space for a chrystal along with the transmitter, and although all the recievers are different(model #'s), they are all BEC AM 75's. Will this transmitter work with these receivers? What crystals will I need to buy?
Thanks for the help.

RE: old 75 MHz radio gear... need help
They should all work with the transmitter as long as all the recievers are AM and the radio looks to be AM. You will need AM crystals. But beware if after buying crystals nothing works buy a new radio and see if any of the recievers work with the new transmitter. You can keep somthing that works as a spare. New radios cost around $50. You can buy a Futaba or Tower 2 channel Am radio to work with what you have now.
