I have the Airtronics MX-3 2.4 ghz radio and I was wondering if any other manufacturers 2.4 ghz will work? I need 2 receivers and Airtronics are about $90 each.

No you have to buy the same brand receiver to work with these new 2.4GHz systems. I just dropped $399.99 on a Futaba 3PK 2.4GHz combo ten minutes ago, a second receiver is $99.99 for my second RC buggy.

The only system you can use different receivers with is the Nomadio React will work with Spectrum Receivers as well as their own.
