Can you post some pics of the Pumpkin body mount system?! It does not use those small side body mount like a LB, right?!
Thanks!!

Ha, no problem.. just want to see if the Pumpkin has a better way of mounting the body.. I broke 3 of my body mounts on the LB, so I need to figure out a stronger way to put the body on.. LOL!!

Try to get some Kimbrough heavy duty unit if you end up getting metal gear servo... you'd see some real improvement in the response in control for sure..

RE: Return of Lunchbox..
this might just show the depth of my problem, but...
i had a dream i broke a couple things on my lunchbox. i couldn't figure out what i had done so wrong. but then when i woke up, i realized it was all in one piece.

Would be kind of fun to make a on-road LB, don't you think?!

I need the flared fenders of the lexan body, because the chassis is too wide for the standard body.
Lunchboxer, could you please measure the width of the Parma body for me? (fender to fender) Thanks!
Just got the info that my custom alloy rims are done, Streetbox-Project will start as soon as my Parma body arrives.
Here's a pic of the rims, I wanted something old-school-looking.

I will measure that tonight..
Wow, aluminum wheels?! How did you make those? And are they meant to fit the stock LB wheel or that's for your street project?!

RE: Return of Lunchbox..
Definitely need to update us on that project!! What chassis will you be using?! FWD M-chassis? (the short wheel base M-chassis will be very close on the wheelbase, I think..) Or you are going to do some custom work?!

RE: Return of Lunchbox..
Prices are for 4 wheels ('1 Satz')
He also makes custom wheels in every dimension or offset (like mine)!
If someone needs more help for translation, PM me!

i can't read german...are those prices for each set or each wheel?

RE: Return of Lunchbox..
ok i opend upp the servo again and nothings broken there... the servo works if the car wheels are in the air....but when on the ground it wont just motor spinning in servo... it looks like the pinion is not attached properly on motor...nothing else can cause this i think...maybe ill try to superglue the pinion or something lol

RE: Return of Lunchbox..
forgive me if i'm stating the obvious...
it sounds like something is slipping. if it works when off the ground (no load) and won't when on the ground (with a load) then slippage has to be the problem.
i've seen where a motor pinion was slipping (not in a servo, but in a case where the pinion was just pressed on, like in a servo) it would do exactly what you're facing.
if the gears are slightly stripped, they might get enough mesh to turn w/o a load but fail with one.
