Default flying wings

I'm just getting started with flying but I really like the idea of RC combat. I also would like to eventually get a flying wing. I like the striker and with it being a pusher I would have to figure out a way to attach a streamer and keep it away from the prop. What I was thing was making a stand off using a wire between the rudders so that the string is held out away from the prop.

I don't know what a striker is, but it sounds like you've got a plan.  The pusher electric combat planes that I've seen had a mid body prop so there was a place behind the prop to attach streamer.  You could always get weedeater or heavy fishing line and make a loop from trailing edges or such to attach the line with, don't know which would be lighter, wire or the line.  There's going to be a point where the wire will be lighter and thinner then the thicker less stiff monofilment.

My club uses strykers for combat, and we have an absolute blast. Streamers do not work well on a styker as the streamer always gets wound up in the prop therfore we do full contact combat with them. All strykers are set up basically the same and we try to knock each other out of the air. They are easy to repair using a hot glue gun. If you totally destroy the plane and cannot get it glued back together you can buy a new body and swap all of the parts over. Our local shop carries the bodies for us and sells them for $16 each. Dont waste your money on replacement fins, we cut then out of coroplast.
