I am a fool for deltas, and this one looks like a quick building and cheap source of fun.

A good web site too.

Thanks guys.

I built this delta a couple of months ago and it is a lot of fun. I put it together just like on the plans. I flew it a few times then discovered I needed to make some mods. If you look further down the page you'll see a picture of my delta from Mt. Vernon, WA. that Martin was kind enough to post. I must say that I bugged him alot with questions about the construction and he always gave me the help I needed. You are correct. They do have a very nice web site. Good luck with yours.

How is the glide in an engine out situation. My gremloid with no airfoil flew great, but died when the engine died. Would this one benefit from a little foam airfoil.

Default about that glide

The glide is not so good. Sorta like a rock. You realy have to point the nose down and get some air speed. One cool thing about the dart is that it always glides and lands flat. Like landing a frizbee.

I have a question? Are you using aircraft plywood or regular plywood. I like the looks of it. Sorry about miss spelling your town of Cornwall. Thanks, Bob
