It depends on what your going to put it on and what kind of flying you plan on doing.
8"Xa bunch of pitch for speed
9"X a average pitch for sport
10"X a little pitch for power or slow flight
9X5 could be a one size fits all, but it isn't.

I have found that the prop that seems to give me the best overall performance on my OS 25 FP that is in a checksix plans Hawker Hurricane is an 8x6 master airscrew. I usually prefer APC props on most of my planes but for combat planes the master airscrew props are a little more forgiving if you happen to doink them on the ground since they are more flexible.
