Are there any clubs in the LA area that are flying combat. I dont know of any, and would love to find a club that is into it.

The Palomar RC flyers hosts combat events regularly. I'm closer to Pasadena but travel there for every event. If you need help getting a setup going PM or post and let me know what you need to get or what questions if any you have.

Jeff, Palomar is the main club sponsoring events in SoCal. The SGVRCL club in South El Monte (Whittier Narrows) did run a couple of events two years ago but couldn't maintain enough participation to lock up the field. Although we enjoyed the event and some of our club members actively participated the support went to other events. I don't even think Sepulveda, Prado Dam nor Santa Fe Dam fields are hosting combat this year.
