Just put a "how to" together for our latest plane, check it out. The fuselage is indestructable, and lighter than gutter pipe.

Trust me...go aileons and V-tail...!!!!!
Yep, Kraut's using a Norvel .25 and micro servos, and I'm using a Mag .28 and standard servos...both are Unlimited vertical to the moon! This plane rocks!
so does my cat "Spinner"

What if the Flutes on the main wing are going length wise? How much flex is there going to be.
Also I found while using Coroplast that GOOP works great so far. Instead of using CA have you tried this? and possibly your opinion.
Thanks

There are a lot of different glues that work, and Goop is a really good one! I like the CA because it's almost instant and I can build a complete 4 channel sport plane in 3 hours, or a combat plane in two. As for the flutes, when using 2 mm coroplast, going spanwise flutes is almost impossible to get a smooth airfoil without the coro "breaking" over unless some sort of internal support is used. When using 4 mm coro, spanwise flutes work great on the triple facet airfoil used on the SNS and Devastator. We also use 4 mm spanflutes on the bottom of the RNAF style wings with 2 mm coro being used chordwise flutted on the wing top.

I introduced the ComBat at the meeting, Well let see how do I say this. I'm now making 9 of them for some of the Club members. Even got calls this weekend to see if I had anymore bat's. : ) So now they want to have a ComBat night at the field when the weather/snow lets us back into the field. I guess some of the Old farts aren't dead after all. Anyhow the CmBat was a huge hit at the meeting take care and thanks again.
BTW Email me with the address where you get different color'd Coroplast.

WOW!!! Thanks for spresding the fun! Have a blast and good luck at your meets!!! Right on! You just made my day!
My last order for coroplast came from Regal plastics out of Joplin Mo. As it turned out, I know a guy who lives in the area who was coming to Wichita to our yearly auction last month, and picked up the order for me. I don't know if they have a web contact, or mail order, but they do have a 1-800 number.

TATTOO,
YES I do know ART AND RAMONA BELL.
I work in a local CASINO, and they come in every once in a while. They are private people, and NO! WE"RE not good friends by far! But we do say hi and call each other by our first names! I'm listening to his show as I type! It's 11:45 PM here in THE KINGDOM OF KNYE!
They gave me two of their T-shirts and two of their COFFEE cups.
ART and RAMONA started a radio station here in PAHRUMP., KNYE FM. I'ts pretty good listening. All top chart stuff from the 50s through the 80s + his talk show..

WAY COOL!!!
I used to work 2nds, and also used to do an all night Sunday country paper route...I never missed his show! He got me through a lot of long nights! I knew he was from Pahrump, and it's a small town from what I gathered...wow just to cool
BTW, as for the Flat Bat combat plane...I used the plane I built for the plans photos in competition in Paris Texas last Saturday... out of 33 pilots, I took 3rd place and survived 3 mid-airs. Rock solid performer...!!! ...time to build a fleet of them for the NATS

Way to go TATTOO!!!!
KICK B*** !
I've got to get off mine and build one of these things.
Like you said PAHRUMP is a small town and we don't have a model flying field, We do have a race track where CHEVROLET sends their DRIVERS to get better and learn. SMITH BRAGG is the name of the course, every once in a while you'll see big name trailers over at his track.
He used to fly r/c and has said we can come over there but it's always busy.
Anyway to fly one of these combat wombats, The guys I fly with would just have to fly for fun. (nothing wrong with that)
TAKE CARE,KEEP KICKING B***!

That combat was so funny!~ First flight was yesterday so the other 5 won't have a problem with the other club members.
That first flight was so uneventful it was surprising. Even with a GMS 25 on it. It had good vertical and the turning roll rate was fun as well.
I was able to put a Dubro 4 Oz tank in the fuse by Drilling a 3/4 In. hole in the firewall and having the lines and the stopper come out there versus putting the tank on the fuse. The Wing Hold downs Were perfect as it added a tad bit of force against the tank to hold it in place.
Anyhow now it's time to put a 32SX on one
Anyhow thanks again it's a keeper.
