Gustof Wind here- took an old Gremlin off the shelf the other day and put in an OS .40flies really nice. Have another with a MVVS .40 on it with a pipehaven't flown it for several years but dusted it off and got it running and plan to fly it soon. Was wondering if anyone out there provides kits for the Gremlin. One of the ones I have I purchased at a swap meet in southern IN and the other was a kit that a fellow down there was cutting and providing with the necessary wood parts. I as well as some of the fellows that I currently fly with are interested in having some. any help would be appreciated!

R A Cores is the place to get them. They offer everything from just the wing cores,to a ready to cover version. There is also a list of Hobby shops that stock kits.

KB9STD. It's his call sign. He hold a General class license and lives in Evansville, Indiana. Airplane registration numbers and amateur radio call signs are public and searchable. Ask for help tracking down a license plate of a vehicle someone about ran you over with and you get this big speech about privacy. But, want to know more than you should about an airplane owner or an amateur radio operator and the Feds will take you to their door.

Did you get your new Gremlin kit? I still have one I built nearly 10 years ago. It's powered by a Brat 25 and I enjoy getting it down off the wall once in a while and just sport flying. I'm trying to decide on an SSC plane for this year. I think I'm going to join the combat fun. I'm in the Cincinnati, Ohio area.

Hey OZ, that's RA Cores in the 1992 article. They are the original Gremlin folks and still the source for kits. At $35 for the kit, I don't know how one justifies the time to source and scratch build one though we have done it here. I did just what that article warned against. My original one is sheeted and glassed and still flies great with a .25 and has lasted about 10 years and two mid-airs so far.

Hey Guys, I too have a Gremlin (and wing cores to build two more). I live in the Cincinnati, Ohio area and am interested in getting together to consider combat. I am also a member of Greater Cincinnati Radio Control Club (GCRCC) and some of the members also have Gremlins. The first one I built was powered by an OS .25 - flew great...then I got the need for speed. Put a .40 on it and that was good, but not enough. Soooo I went out and baught a JETT .35. BNow I don't even need to throw it to launch it. Now it really is too fast. I guess I'll go back to a .40.
E-mail me, call me or let's contact each other to get together to compare notes and talk about Gremlins & combat...
