Default Help !! braking problem

Hi all, i apologize if i posted onthe wrong area,

anyway i have a Hpi sprint 2 drift ,i took out the stock engine and esc and mounted it on my redcat racing,

now my problem is when i drive my redcat racing and position it for a drift when i hit a slight brake it jerks back braking completely and then it stops for like 3 seconds then ucan drive it back again.

anyone knows what this is? thanks

what about your esc?? did you change the esc as well or just the motor?? if you havent changed the esc then maybe it is a compatibility issue between motor and esc?? or maybe the esc you have now on the redcat is not set up properly to read 'idle, forward, reverse' positions.

ORIGINAL: ranz420

Looks to me like he swapped the motor and esc. Now question is.....which control are you using? If you are using the RedCat control and receiver you will have to sync the radio to the esc. If you swapped the HPI receiver over to your RedCat you shouldn't have to sync and there should be no problems.
