Default newb w/ta03 david jun hook it up!

Well I have my tamiya ta03 devid jun edition from when i used to race 1/10 scale touring cars back in the days.. and it appears that this car might be perfect for drift(front motor awd).. I think I'm gonna pick up some yokomo drift tires with a couple extra sets of drift rings.. any tips on setting it up? I was thinking of rocking some negative camber stiffening up the rear, putting the fat swaybar in the back and possibly throwing my one way diff in the rear also..

thanks,

If you were a racer, then you already know this, but what you should do is start with it stock, and make one change at a time so you know what effect each one has. If you just throw a ton of crap onto it right at the start you'll never know how each changes the drift, so you won't be able to tune it.

I agree, throwing sway bars on, adjusting camber, and changing shock oil before you drift is overkill. I would run it with the drift tires how it is stock, then do suspension changes. Adding a swaybar in the mix just adds anoter thing to worry about, they're not required to have nice flowing drifts. If you get tired of replacing drift rings, i reccomend switching to ABS tires.
