it doesnt matter what color or race you are when u own a car... then that would mean anyone who drives an asian car is asian and anyone who drives an american car is american. who ever said that is racist.

Nitro dont like the Slide hence blowing Gaskets, Clutch bells and going through tyres like there is no tommorrow..

If Your Car has been set up for speed then it will not be set up for the art of the Slide..

You need to keep first Gear High and the Rev band smack in the middle of its torque Curve , So when you do nail the throttle it will spin the Tyres and Kick the Tail out.. then it is up to your throttle control and steering adjustments to keep it there..

ok.. back to the original subject at hand, change your gearing out for better take off speed, and less top speed...... don't know much about the nitro tc3 but if it has front and rear diff, lock the rear diff,....

and tire's are 90 percent of the battle... if your car is flipping most likely its got the wrong kind of tires on it... get some hpi rubber drift tires......

and if you want to get real technical check the center of gravity if the if the center of gravity is not at the mid point of the car which im sure it's not add lead weight to the front end of the car to get the weight more on the front and off the rear as much,

set your needles a little on the rich side and start drifting.... its that simple...

and if you do all that and you still can't drift, then send me your car, because its not your car that can't drift its you

Slap on some drift tires, peg the throttle, turn and drift. There's nothing to it, and no, I'm not being sarcastic it's that easy.
newb drifting is just that...
