ok nitro cars aren't a pain unles your a very bad drive and crash it alot. but if you don't a nitro car isn't that bad to have. but you need mo0re time for it. break-in . and buying nitro and AA battery eater other than that you get a fast car .mostly faster than any rtr electric car i think. the engine is depended on how you break-in your car . if you break in your car on the instruction you would be fine but if you do it by your self and with no friend who has 1. it will be hard. go to yourlhs local hobby shop and ask questions alot. then if you have trouble get the nitro engine dvd.teaches you how to do many things with the engine and your car. i have 1 and its really helpful. done with that.
ntc3 is a very very good car. but now most cars have electric start which the ntc3 doesn't have. and most people said its better but not me . no more blisters but some think its more helpful and sumtims it is. i have a ld3 2 spd powerstart for a great price and its great. most engines last about a good 2 and a half to 3 and a half gallons of nitro. no matter how good you treat your engine.

okokok the engine depends on your likings. good thing mine is only 54.99 on a website i no. i love my ld3. ok for a good engine get ready to spend 75-100++ upto 250 and over for the nova's very very very very good engines but you dont need them. an hpi t-15 is good laso 1.4or.5 hp is good enough for 75 dollars. to put engines are well again depends on car. you can do it your self. but you must put everything back to where it came from. only thing you need to do is unscrew some bolts and put the other one on and replace the muffler. but dont mess with anything else like gears. you can slide it out if done correctly. then again you can rebuild your engine which is cheaper but i like to break -in a new engine. and rebuilds here in ny most hobby shops dont do it but a dvd on how to- on nitro engine shows you.replacing the piston, connecting rod, and sleeve is what a rebuild it and must me brokin in again. easy to me.

a tank of gas in my car driven regularly last about a good 15 minutes or driven hard 10. on a very full tank. a gallon of fuel should last you very long tho

sry for the low responce hope you think its helpful.

sry no it just means you have to put your old muffler on.or put a better 1 for more power

and for the engine wise. diffs on the engine like the traxxas 2.5 is like 109 on ebay. rebuild might cost 60-70 and cheap engines arent as powerful then the 2.5 soo depends pon whats engine you have and what engine your switching too

and sry for the mistake it was sapose to be long not low
