Hi guys I'm looking into getting an electric R/C. Are there ones that drift? Can I modify an ordinary one so that it can drift? Thanks.

There's nowt like good advice [:@]
ANY 4wd car can be set up to drift, it's all in the tyres
Any electric 4wd tourer is a great candidate from the humble TT01 to the exotic xray's & corally's, just replace the normal grip tyres with ABS, PE, insulation tape or hard drift rubber
Hope that's a bit better info for ya (both)

Yokomo makes some cool drifting cars. I tried once to find out what was so special about them. I think just alittle wider chassis. But i agree it is all in the tires.

The TT-01 is a great car to start off with i personally have one and it works great. http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXHWN0&P=ML that is the kit that i got but notice that there are a few thing that u need to buy in order to get it running also this is a kit so you need to build it. if your not happy with you building skills then go for the RTR version where it already comes assembled http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXJSV9&P=7 but also notice theres still things needed to be bough with the RTR version like batteries for the radio and a battery and charger for the car, if you have a higher budget then try aiming towards the yokomo kit/rtr this is one kit http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXJDB9&P=7 and this is one RTR http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXKDE8&P=7. along with all that you want to buy PVC pipe with a 2inch inside diameter which can be found at a local hardware store...if u dont have any idea wat pvc pipe is im sure if u go to ur local hardware store and ask around ull find it.
