I decided to turn one of my old HPI micros into a drift car.

in that pic I just have the hard kit tires, they work good on linoleum floors.
I'm going to try some 1" vinyl tubing for the street and I'll let everyone know how it works.

How are the HPI RS4 micro's? I was considering one but not too sure yet.

The RS4 micro is a great car but a bit outdated. I used to race it years ago until the X RAy M18 came out. Then my 3 micros sat on my shelf doing nothing. So I figured why not turn them into drift cars??
We're trying some 1/8" wall 1" vinyl tubing slipped over the micro rims. I'll keep you guys posted on how it works. I also heard that some people are using micros to drift using electrical tape wraped around the tires and it supposedly works great!!.
It's a really cheap way to get into drifting
