the Cougar shell is made by HPI. The color is Pactra Burgundy Metallic, backed with silver and the silver backed with flat black. Incase anyone wanted to know.

Thanks I achieved that colour by doing 2 coats of Tamiya Translucent Blue first and then backed that with 3 layers of Black.

lower the body. put some offsets on the rims, and it will look nice.

By offset do you mean use some deep dish rims or how do you mean ?

Your right about lowering the body more... does look better now ... maybe a little lower again?

Enough so the tire is barely tucked under the wheel well.

Offset: Moving the rim out of the body. Basically some spacer that go between the rim and axle hex nut.

any 6mm or more offsets will do wonders for that chassis.

Nice Chassis. Im guessing thats a TA04S because of those white wheels on the calsonic body kit.

As you all know, Im planning on gettin a 04 myself. But now I collect them as well as race, I seen that rcmart has what I want at the right price. and I cant decide whether to get an 04 or an 03 TA0 chassis.

It likes to go sideways without Drift Tires but with the Tires on it loves opposite lock fun car to own.

actually spartan its not the calsonic body but the touring body that came with my old t-spec lol
(its really beat, the tape on the front half is where the original bumper used to be)


but yes you are right about it being a TA04s
ive heard good and bad things about rcmart so be careful.

I had a TA-04S with a Calsonic Body.. Sold it for the Sprint 2.. Havent Regretted it yet.
If I had to get another Tamiya Belt Drive (Which I wont ) I would go a TRF 415..

ive heard of people not getting their stuff for large periods of time (im talkin on the verge of 6 months) rcmart sending them the wrong parts/part out of stock. People want refunds for parts they didnt order and get nothing but store credit.

ive also heard great things about rcmart such as great customer service and quick shipping
if or when you do order from rcmart send them an email with your shopping cart on there so that they can confirm everything is in stock.


but i do agree their selection as awesome, they've got TRF dampers both the regular florine coated and the special editon blue ones with a mess of other hopups that look really nice.

if it takes six months....well as long as they got their products it sounds good to me.
When I getthe money for my ta04 I will send them my cart to see if its in stock.
They dont tell you if its in stock on the website?[X(]
