HPI Sprint2Sport Drift 1/10 Scale. 93tooth Carbon fiber spur gear as oppose to the stock 87tooth. Sprint white Greddy 350z Body with carbon fiber lip and side skirts. Just ordered a 20tooth pinion gear for it. [>:]

My RS4 Nitro Drifter should be here today, but I wanted to practice for that body. Here's my Associated 18R with the new shell. I kinda like it...

That's pretty nice... Like it.

Did you airbrush that?

Also, I have a question

For those who spray paint, or rattle can their bodies, how many layers do you put on?

I'm fixing up a chipped body, so I'm putting on the third layer now. Then gonna peel off the taped up windows, and try and paint it black (but there's red on it, how do I remove the red?)

No...I looked into airbrushing, but I probably wouldn't be good at it, and it is very expensive to get a descent system. I just mask and rattle can it. I usually put 2-3 layers and then a white "cover coat" that helps brighten things up.

As far as the body that you're fixing, it's going to be very hard to get the existing paint off. I would just go find a new shell and start over. You will be happier, and you will spend less time.

Thanks for the compliments!!!

I don't know if you saw my video, but here's a video of my 18R drifting with the stock body...

Just paint white over the red?

Only if your red coat is not done properly.
other wise the black just darkens the top coat..
