If you know what youre doing you wont have that problem. It takes time to get good with nitro, but once you do theres no way you will ever regret it. Electrics are fine but nitros are way more rewarding.
In no way do I think nitros are better (to each its own). In my opinion, they are just more challenging therefore more rewarding once you begin to master them.

Yeah. Though I don't own any nitros, when I get challenged, and I overcome it, I'd feel lot better.. Though, I'm liking electric for now Maybe when the nitro fuel crisis is over (Well, it's a crisis for 30% heli fuel! hehe. No, I don't nitro helis. Only electric )

BTW...I did get the RS4 Drift in, and it is a ton of fun. In my opinion, it's easier to drift so far then my little 18R. My 1/18 is very squirrelly, and it seems that there's a little more stability with the 1/10 scale.

I've got quite a bit of nitro experience. I agree w/ eXunforgiven. Nitro is a little tough when you're first breaking it in, but once it's dialed there's just something really cool about hearing it rip around an empty parking lot. It is also two completely different systems (gas engine and electric control) that have to work in harmony. Then there's the smell...OH THE SMELL!!

Not sure why, but one day, my back fender for my wheels just gave in, and are now touching my abs tires... Will fix that, but here are some teasers.

I'm running:
Stock ESC
Stock Motor (I'm looking into some better motors, anything you guys recommend? Want to keep my current ESC. It seems to be working nicely.

Off Brand (Yeah, off a WalMart Car!)
Off Brand Dodge Charger SRT8 Rims with ABS Sushi from SupaCruza on eBay.

Driftin like a dream.

Well I needed a New Bash Shell and I was testing out a paint job I intend on doing for my HPI Shell that will be comming in a few days..

It Started life as a HBX Skyline Shell but with a bit of hard work It was given a top coat re-spray..
The Stock Decals are painted on the original shell and so I had to paint my own on... hence why it looks a little dodgey

I think it is an improvement over stock...

Here's my CT5. I have losi drift-R tires, the stock body, a himoto tuned pipe, and a team infinity (from .18) air filter. Anything else I should do to it?

It's here...and it's a convertible now! I couldn't keep the temp down when I was running with the body on, so...I went topless. It doesn't look bad, and it runs much cooler now. Also, I had to pair the two of mine up for a pic...

You get em when you buy some Sushi ABS tires from supacruza.

If you email him pics of your car with the sticker + ABS tires, and if he chooses your picture to use on his listings, he'll send you another 3 pair of tires for free.
Didn't enter mine in. Don't think it's that pretty.

Hey...I was thinking about using ABS with my nitro, but I didn't know if that was a good idea. I almost purchased some of the Sushi ABS. I'm blazing through the HPI type A tires like crazy, and I would think ABS might last longer. What do you think?

Haven't tested em out just yet... Still tryin to fix a wheel hub. But It's only 10 bucks, why not?
Anyone know how to remove a bearing out of a wheel hub before I cut up the wheel hub?

yeah ABS will last longer... but they're just for drifting cause they give you like no traction at all...

all ABS is, is a plastic tube lol... so though ive never tried it on a nitro, im guessing itll last longer.

one of my neighbors has a nitro and he burns through rubber tires like crazy... give abs a try

Yeah, just drove it on ABS.

It is AWESOME.
I still like rubbers, learned on rubbers, and it's a bit easier for me.
Recommend ABS for beginners, and for people who know what they're doing, and just wanna play around.

need some ideas for a new body i have coming.
its a 350z.
i will be putting a simple design across each side from tire to tire and painting an actual carbon fibre style hood.

my issue is paint color..
the wheels are blue chrome. the side design will be black.
what should my main body colour be?
