Default Need Somemore help!

Hey guys. I got my car up and running (Tamiya Coppermix) but have a problem. The night before I turned the car on for the first time and It ran full trottle backwards and ripped off my antenna wire. I twisted the wires back together and black taped them. I was just wondering if that could be the reason why at about 15 feet away it jerks and runs full throttle without me controlling it. until It's close to me again. Also I am running a Traxxas Receiver and have the one ESC plug plugged into it and the servo plug. The ESC also has a 2 prongged plug coming out of it that has to be plugged into the Batt plug in the receiver. [Chan 1] [Chan 2] [Batt] does anyone know what could be wrong with it.

yea, it sounds like you could do with a couple of capaciters in your motor, that sholud stop the twitching and give you better range (hopfully)

you jacked up your antennae. it needs to be fixed properly. very complicated science (I don't understand it, just read about it) dictates the best length for an antenna. your is now the wrong length.
