Default Sticks or trigger?

I'm getting a tt01 soon, and I've seen that many people prefer trigger controls to sticks. What is the benefit of trigger controls over sticks, or is it more of a preference thing, as I prefer sticks more than triggers.

Oh no ... its very possible that Rcfreak isnt kidding since he doesnt actualy own a hobby grade Rc car?

I prefer Trigger controller to a stick mainly because when drifting your constantly tweaking the amount of throttle which is alot easier to do with your trigger finger than what it is to use your thumb on a stick. Plus the wheel on a trigger style controller makes the small steering adjustments your constantly doing a little more precise. Thats my 10 cents anyway

some guys esp the japanese drifters still like the stick controllers.

i use a trigger, because it simulates the act of driving a lot better and feels more comforatable

Both stick and trigger operate good, I tried my stick and immediately put my trigger back in,so you know what that tells you.

i used my friends stickremote and damn once you go trigger you cant go stick, its just confusing, although i can fly a rc helicopter
trigger is just so much more controllable when it comes to turning, its gives you better feedback.

like a real car, when theres no steering feedback then it sucks, but when there is you can become one with the car (hope that want to deep for you guys)

I know just what you mean. When I'm karting well I know what every part of the kart is doing down to the tyres on the tarmac, and you can just sese the limits. I also zone with other things. I was using scalextric and my eyebrows would move down the further I pulled the trigger, so decelerating was funny, because my eyebrows would shoot up. And when I played GT1 and GT2 on ps1, I would zone even though I didn't have any feedback. Weird.

I was using sticks before your triggers were even invented.

This was a radio I had.
