gonna try heavy duty 1mm thick heatshrink which as it shrinks gets thicker , gonna try it but use two layers of it , i reckon it will take the form of the wheel well and reduce surface area of the wheel contact point but give just about enough grip to drift as its like a hard rubber compound once its shrunk, has anybody tried this or has anybody any thoughts on it , let me know

any update? Great outside of the box thinking.
another option would be to use tape to even out the wheel, or just dremel down the ribs, and then shrink wrap.
