go with the one you WANT more. Between the TC4 and the Yokomo, there is no better or worse. One just has more local support. But, you're in california, so you shouldn't have a problem with either one.
If all you're doing is drifting, there really is no "upkeep". Take a compressed air hose (at a local track, garage, or gas station) or pipe cleaner to it every now and then and you'll be good. Don't drift in sand. Other than that, it's 6 one way, half dozen the other. Also, niether Cyclone nor Sprint 2 are superior to either of these chassis. The biggest difference is the ones you picked are shaft while the others are belt. I will say, however, most (if not all) D1RC cars are shaft driven, if that tells you anything.

Like a said, it's more personal preference. There's no real big differences in the chassis. They are both made of the same material. They both have the motor and servo on the right and battery on the left. They both are shaft driven. There's no HUGE difference. Here's a pic of them side by side (the TC4 facing you and the Yok facing away).

Ehhh. I guess the Yok. But that's just cuz it's more ready to drift. The TC4 has stiffer suspension for racing. the motor I use is modded. Since I race it, it's usually broken (like now). But they're BOTH great. Just the Yok is more ready to go.

Its mainly a personal preferance. Of thsoe 2 i would go with the TC4, but either will work great. It doesnt take much fr a car to be an awesome drifter. One thing though, With drifting having a all out race car isnt really much of an advantage. I would personally take a cheeper car (somthing like a Ta05, TB-02, ect.) put a couple of $$ into some hop-ups. Youll have a car thats just as goods a drifter, cost less, and the main resaon will be more durable. those pure-bred racers have a less priority on durability then many cheeper, but "slower" cars.
