Thanks for the advice. Yeah I don't plan to strive to be a pro or anything. I may enter a little race here and there, but nothing crazy. I just like going out there and having some fun. What I do with my two Nitro Trucks.

There are plenty of hop-ups for the TT01. 2 or 3 people may use it in competition, but no one ever wins with it. A fully hopped up TT01 is still not as good as some other stock chassis out there. It's a begginner's package, plain and simple. It's not really built to be GREAT.

For beginners or people just on a budget and don't care about durability of the parts, I wouldn't hesitate recommending the TT-01. I wouldn't recommend a TT_01 if you plan on spending a load of cash upgrading it. You're better off buying a better kit.

That's what I'm saying. I'm not knocking it as a begginner chassis. But, THAT'S what it is. I just feel like if you're gonna hop it up to high heaven and back, just buy a better chassis from the gate.
