Well since we have a drift body pic thread, I thought I'd start a Drift chasis pic thread so people can show off their blinged out chasis. So here goes to start with I'll post a pic of my faithfull TT01 thats had the usual upgrades done to it (most available from RCmart and eTamiya)

So lets see your chasis guys. Maybe mention any rare or unusual hopups or mods you've done and links to them to help fellow drifters out.

Here's my Stealth TA03F as I like to call it. Only just finished rebuilding it from second hand parts that I scored off various people around the world and it looks like I have enough parts to build another

Ahhh yes the dampers
Those are the limited edition golds that came with the TA03F Pro David Jun Edition. Their pretty rare I'm told. They've been completely rebuilt with new o-rings and pistons and then filled with 20aw oil
It was alot of work restoring this thing but to me its all worth it because I just LOVE the feel of the 03F with the front mounted motor. They just drift so well because of the weight placement
I guess thats why HPI have released the E10 with a front motor mounting position

Thanks
The cleaning and restoring of the parts took most of the time. I ended up with enough parts to start piecing together another Pro and I still have some carbon plates for a 3rd. You ordered 2 03F's? Are they Pro's or plain 03F's? Its the pro you want. They are much lighter and the balance is WAY better. You must have had some luck finding 2 TA03Fs coz they arent that easy to find these days. did ya find em on eBay or something ?
If they arent Pro's then I might be able to help you out with the FRP chasis plates to convert the standard to a Pro
If you want more info on the 03Fs then come over to the DRCentral Tamiya/TA03 forum where all us 03F ****s hangout
Lots of help and info there.

Yup you sure can and I even know of 2 stores locally here that still have the TA03F-S in stock but then no one wants the R (motor mounted at the back like any other chasis) or the S (short chasis version which limits the shells you can run). Its the full size TA03F or more to the point the TA03F Pro thats hard to get (apart from them sometimes popping up on eBay).
