Default Reciever and transmitter problems

Ok so i got the tt-01r its real nice and all. But im loosing signal and i don't go more than 30 feet. Well im bad at estimating but its not that far. I can drive my evader almost all the way up my 365ft drive way and this one doesnt make that. What might be the problem.

i would make sure that all the connectors are tight and you have good batteries in it.
