Default New Neons

I followed a DIY that I found and made some neons for my drifter. 2 clear straws from the local Mexican restaurant and 8 led's that I bought at the local parts store with a little electrical tape were all that I needed. The parts store has led's wired with resistors that come in packs of 4 for $8.88. I might could have saved a little money wiring them myself but I suck at soldering. All you do is cut the straw the length you need and put an led in each end. Attach to battery and presto instant glow. (By the way its a tc3 with an old beater body that I repainted on the outside because it was thrashed. I'm trying out some ideas for when I get a new body.)

The intercooler is made from styrene. You need the ribbed type sheet that is used for siding on buildings for dioramas, some strips, and some tubes. All should be available at your lhs. Just cut the ribbed part to size, use the strips for your frame, and bend some tubes. There are several diy's out there. I build plastic models so it was easy for me.
