Smoke Unit

What kind of smoke unit best suits our need? I've seen a video of an Italian drift club on YouTube where almost every single car had a smoke unit installed. I've come across two kinds on the web, one for model aircraft and the other for model trains. Which one are people more familiar with?

smoke unit for exhuast? or is it for realistic drift action?...maybe soak a cotton ball in NITROMETHANE and light it up. stick the flame ball in a small metal cylinder and slap your setup on the car body.

some of the rc tanks have a smoke unit installed mainly on the HL brand it consists of a wick which uses a heating element through a circuit board you add smoker oil which produces the smoke also using a pump system to blow out smoke,if hooked up to an rc car if will produce more smoke when more power is increased.
due to the quality of HL electrics i dont think this has been tried yet lol

i used smoke matches in a small metal tin , there used for testing chimneys to see if there clear , problem is they only last 20 seconds , need something though the cars look really good with smoke plumes
try ebay for smoke matches/pellets , the pellets smoke for 60 seconds but are slightly more expensive

soak cotton/fiberglass with gasoline and mineral oil, stuff them under the body shell, lit them up and start drifting as quickly as you could, instant smoke and fire ball machine.
