Brushless is a tad overkill for Drifting but the 5700kv seems to be a popular choice...
Go for which ever one you feel like as both will have enough oomph to get the tail out...

novak systems arent as hard on the drivetrains, especially in these cars. i have been running a 7.5r in mine with stock gearing and its pretty sick.
